The Germania check-in desk usually open two hours before scheduled departures, but at some airports you can check in earlier. We recommend that you check in as early as possible, because check-in closes 45 minutes before the scheduled departure time. After it has shut, we are no longer able to check you in. Passengers must present themselves at the desk early enough to be checked in and in possession of a boarding card 45 minutes before their scheduled departures.
For flights within the EU, EU citizens require a valid personal ID only. All other travellers require valid passports. All passengers, including children under 16 and babies, are obliged to carry the required form of identification (entry in accompanying parent’s passport, if applicable). Also note that some countries require an entry visa. As a passenger, you are responsible for having all of the documents you require for entry into and exit from your destination country to hand.
