Since the business was founded, Germania has enjoyed an excellent reputation of being one of the most economically operating airlines worldwide, but also of being among the top international addresses for leasing. Germania owes this first of all to its founder, the lawyer Dr. Hinrich Bischoff (1936 – 2005), who the industry describes as someone who had an excellent skill for economising and who certified an infallible instinct for where and how aircrafts are negotiated at a good price.
Wet Lease
In the scope of wet lease contracts, the route networks of various customers such as Air Berlin are operated by Germania in Europe. Germania provides the staff and organisation of operative processes as well as the aircraft, technology and crew. The high quality of the products is due, not least of all, to the fact that the various teams are as well attuned to one another as possible.
Dry Lease
A different part of the Germania aircraft belonging to the Germania Company Group is temporarily leased via dry lease agreements to customers all over the world. As only the aircraft is provided in dry leases, a purchaser can react more flexibly to the market without being exposed to a high financial risk through buying the aircraft.
